Angel is a young African American teen living in a single parent home since her father left them to start a new family and life. If her parents’ relationship issues aren’t enough to deal with already, Angel gets chased daily by jealous girls from school.

She has no one to talk to, no one understands. Who can she turn to? Angel looks for a way to cope with her life obstacles… she begins cutting herself. A brief moment of pain to alleviate the weight crushing her daily. Her parents don’t take notice of her mental anguish until her physical pain is overwhelmingly apparent, they ignored her Silent Screams.
