Tim and Jade’s relationship is over, Tim having had an affair with Jamileh, an Iranian woman who works in the shop below their apartment. On their last morning before Tim is due to move out , a terrorist attack erupts in their neighbourhood. With bloody scenes occurring on their doorstep, Tim rescues an injured cyclist with the help of a young girl as well as giving refuge to Jamileh in the apartment. Seemingly safe, a shocking turn of events tests their humanity to the limits.
